5th ASEAN Jamboree

General Information

The Scouts Association of Malaysia, Terengganu State, invites Scouts and Leaders from their National Scout Organizations to join the fun and catch the experience of being part of the 5th ASEAN Jamboree.

Date            :         15 -20 September 2016

Venue         :         Tengku Muhammad Ismail Scout Camp,

Kuala Nerus, Terengganu, Malaysia

Fee              :         International Participants (US$120.00 per person)

International Service Team (US$100.00 per person)

The Jamboree includes inland transportation from Sultan Mahmud Airport, Terengganu / Kuala Terengganu bus terminal to campsite, Jamboree kits, on-site activities and off-site educational events, tents and cooked meals start from dinner on 15th Sept to breakfast on 20th Sept 2016)

Registration         :         Registration must be submitted before 1 July 2016

Eligibility             :         Open to Scouts and Leaders (male or female) of their

respective National Scout Organization. Participants

must obtain consent and approval from their NSO.

Equipment           :         Participants must bring their own sleeping bag,

flashlight, Scout uniform, sportswear, rain gear and

personal medicine.

Compulsary        :         All Contingents are required to bring traditional

costumes representing their country and one type of

traditional dessert. The traditional dish must not

contain any origin from pork or non-halal meat.

All Contingents are required to bring 2 national flags.
